Interested in speaking at TEDxTuscaloosa?

Do you have an important story, idea or invention to share that fits our theme, “Ideas Worth Spreading”?

If you’re looking to apply to become a speaker, we assume you have a little base information about TED and TEDx. If not, we encourage you to research at TED.com.

Please note that this year, we require a video of you describing your idea and your talk. The video does not need to be high quality – it can be shot on your phone or webcam. You can upload the video anywhere that it will be accessible to us – we recommend an “Unlisted” video on YouTube.

The video should:

  • Be no more than 3 minutes
  • Be unedited – don’t worry about the quality of the video
  • Describe your idea and your talk in a way that communicates your passion and enthusiasm for the speaker selection group
  • Be easily accessible by the selection group via a link

Notice

Completed applications must be received NO LATER than Saturday, January 21st, 2017 by 11:59PM (CST).
